How our AI reads the cards
Tarotez uses the 22 Major Arcana of the Rider–Waite tradition — the most widely studied tarot deck, drawn by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909. Each card carries layers of symbolism; the meaning depends on the question, the spread, and the relationship between the cards drawn.
When you reveal a reading, we send your question, the reading type, the category, and the cards you picked to a large language model. The model is prompted to interpret them in a grounded, reflective tone — no scare tactics, no cold reading, no guarantees about the future. Your question is not stored after interpretation.
